Listed below are the most frequently asked questions (FAQ) about banner advertisements. If your questions are not covered in this FAQ, feel free to send them to us and we will do our best to give you a satisfactory answer.

What is a Banner?

A banner is a form of visual strip or icon that gives advertisers immediate brand and product exposure. It is usually rectangular in shape and is mostly placed at the top or the bottom of web pages.

How do you measure the perfomance of banner advertising?

The performance of banner advertising is measured by the number of times your advertisement is viewed. Each view is called an "impression". Some prefer to measure the number of clicks on the banner.

What do you need to specify for a banner ad campaign?

Advertisers will have to specify the following parameters in subscribing to this service:

Number of impressions:
The number of time banner advertisement served to the viewers.

Time frame:
The period over which the banner impression is to be advertised.

For example 100,000 impression over a period of 2 weeks. This means that a banner will be served 100,000 times over the 2-week period.
